Action 4 Bullying is an Erdington based charity working with children who have/are suffering from bullying.  The group came to Walmley in the summer holidays for 6 weeks of golf coaching. We saw a marked improvement in self-confidence and willingness to have a go in the participants.

 

This is the kind of project that really helps a child find a place. Many of these children avoided sport and physical activity at all cost. It was great to show them that sport can be fun and engaging and it doesn't have to be a scary thing. We hope the children involved go on and maintain higher self esteem levels in their day to day lives
