Activities
Here at Walmley Golf Academy, we offer a lot to more to our juniors than just weekly golf lesson. Below are some examples of extra activities we offer. Open activities are bookable at the bottom of this page.
Holiday Clubs
Holiday Clubs are a great way to introduce a child to the Golf Club and Golf Course. Running from 10 am - 3:00 pm they are a great way to entertain your children during the school holidays.
We start our day explore the golf course, play some holes, learning about how the golf course is maintained, how we use the golf course safely and the wildlife that lives around the golf course. after lunch in the clubhouse with the members, we spend the afternoon on the driving range playing games and driving buggies! (always a favourite activity!)
Holiday Clubs are all about fun, inclusion and spending time outside. Showing our young golfers the golf club is a fun and welcoming place to spend their times as they develop as golfers.

Golf Sixes
Walmley is proud to take part in the golf foundation golf sixes supported by the European tour. Each year 12 juniors get the opportunity to represent our academy in team matches against other Birmingham based golf clubs over 6 short holes. making it suitable for all abilities. This is a great opportunity for juniors to play competitive golf and really get a feel for the game they are learning.
Days out
A big part of our academy is helping our juniors form friendships with fellow junior golfers so when they progress to junior membership of Walmley Golf Club they have a group of friend to play golf with. Days out such as mini-golf help to cement these life long friendships.
